Dear students:
As students, you may all agree that it is not a pleasant experience to nod off in class when the teacher is lecturing. However, sometimes you just can’t help it. In your writing this week, you are going to tell your readers what kind of interesting dream the boy is having while he is asleep in class. I can’t wait to read your stories.

Dear Students:
Your assignment for today is to post your work from the 2nd Mark Exam. Before doing that, please revise it and make sure there are no major mistakes in your writing. If possible, have one or two of your classmates proofread for you. After posting your own works, visit the others’ blogs and learn from your peers.

I’ve suffering from backache for years due to my bad posture. Taking yoga has helped me to relieve the pain. However, heavy workload this year has given me a good excuse to skip my yoga class. As a result, my backpain has haunted me again. Luckily, I bought a great Yoga DVD recently, with the length of two hours. Following this DVD, I can add flexibility, release stress and strengthen my body. I felt great after the two-hour lesson. Furthermore, I have kept reminding myself of straightening my back, keeping a good posture. Hopefully, i can finally get rid of backpain.

Dear students:
Do you miss the bedtime stories our mummies and daddies used to read us? Now it is your turn to be a storyteller. However, you do not have to tell us how the brave Seven Dwarfs sheltered Snow White and what a miserable life Cinderella was leading. Instead, you make up your own story. There are four pictures as follows. Use your imagination and tell us what happens between the little girl and the kitten. I bet you can be a fascinating storyteller, just like your mom and dad.

Dear all:
Have you watched any news report? What’s been in the spotlight this week? To me, the news that a British teacher has been charged with offending religion after allowing her students to name a teddy bear “Mohammed” is the most terrifying. Please read the report from CNN Student News this week and leave your comment on this issue.

Have you ever felt inferior among your peers because of your appearance? If yes, the CNN news report on the Indian girl, Lakshmi Tatma , may give you food for thought and inspire you to see yourself in a new light. Lakshmi was born with eight limbs, which terrified her family. Despite her partents’ efforts, Lakshmi could not undergo proper treatment since the rare procedure would cost a considerable amount of money. Lskshmi’s parents, who work as casual laborers, could not afford the medical bill. Fortunately, a group of doctors from Bangalore, India, kindly lent their helping hands and agreed to perform the surgery to remove Lakshmi’s extra limbs. Dr. Patil, chief of the medical team, said the surgery went well but Lakshmir is still in the intensive care unit, where her progress has been closely monitored. All we can do now is keep our fingers crossed for Lakshmi.

Dear all:
I always like to compare life to a train ride, on which we have met hundreds of people. Some of them may take a quick glimpse at us or have a small talk with us and then get off our train. They may not leave any trace in our life after we wave goodbye at them. Some people, however, leave their footprints. They either change the way we think or the way we act. We then know how to lead our life in a more positive way. In this assignment, you are to sketch this special person by using your words. Look forward to knowing someone special to you!

249原由 lillianliu_515 上載Egypt is such a faraway country that I never thought I would be able to visit one day, let alone the pyramid. Last July, however, this fantasy turned into reality thanks to the iEarn conference which took place in Cario. I was awed by the splendor of the structure, which has been standing there for thousands of years, witnessing the ups and downs of the once great empire. My trip to Egypt has surely left me a lot to reminisce about in the years to come.
